Because small rural communities, like the North Trinity Lake region, are pretty much on their own to maintain a quality of life for their visitors and residents. 2012 Fest proceeds will go to TLRA community projects and programs, including Gateway "Welcome" monuments on Highway 3, a visitor information kiosk, more advertising of the North Lake, and continued oversight and advocacy for unobstructed access to public lands and water. Join us for a tasting of some of the best wines in Superior California from Trinity County and nearby niche vineyards. Winery representatives will be present to talk about their wines and answer any of your wine questions. We thank our wineries for their tremendous support!

We have expanded the Fest this year with the addition of more local artists and a larger, integrated venue layout. Artists will offer jewelry, watercolors, fine photography, oil paintings, and more.

Pair your wine with samplings from chefs participating in the Fest's Awesome Appetizer Cookoff. Last year's, entries included favorites Savory Satay, Greenhorn Garlic, Luau-at-the-Lake Chicken, Grapes of Raft, and Big Daddy's Trinity Tapenade.

Help support the North Lake area by entering our cookoff. Judges' Choice awards include cash to 3rd place and. Lake Fest aprons to 6th place. Guys, show your skills, barbecue are welcome.

1st place cash prize- $150
2nd place - $100
3rd place - $75

Cookoff People's Choice and Fest Showmanship prizes will be awarded. The People's Choice Award is a fun, fundraising part of the cookoff. The Crowd Favorite winner is the contestant receiving the most votes from the event attendees. The proceeds from the sale of extra voting tickets will be split 50/50—half going to the winner and half to the Trinity Lake Revitalization Alliance.

You can vote for you favorite cook two ways:

Each tasting kit purchaser receives 3 tokens to vote for their favorite appetizer
Extra voting tokens can be purchased by tasting holders for $1/token or 6 tokens for $5 at the TLRA booth.

Our silent auction and raffle helps support many of Trinity Lake Revitalization Alliance's community projects. Be sure to stop by the auction table to find that one thing that you can't live without.

When hunger strikes, you can purchase one of Chef Shannon Lewis's Fest sandwiches. So far, Chef is keeping his creation a secret. Stay tune for an announcement.

Stop by the Fest "Beer Garden" that is always buzzing with guests enjoying microbrews from Lost Coast Brewery and Etna Brewery. These breweries make exceptional artisan beers and we offered a selection of their best.
